MISSIONS TRAINING

Every Christian is called, commissioned and empowered by Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit to be involved in the mission of God. To be fruitful on this task effective Bible based training enables the believers, the gospel ministers and the church leaders to equip themselves for the purpose of their existence according to purpose of God.

Especially to the servants of the Lord, training helps them to become effective gospel workers and enhance their potential in the expansion of God’s kingdom. Therefore NLIJM training program employs kinds of training according to the trainees’ personality and position in order to achieve the determined goal in the ministry of the gospel. We provide different kinds of training such as:-

1.    To help believers to become effective witness of Jesus Christ in life and utterance.

We provide friendship or personal evangelism and discipleship training to the existing church leaders, ministers and the entire believers of the local church or evangelical churches fellowship too. We give various approaches and motivational training to reach the unreached neighbors in their vicinity, working places and other areas during their day to day activities.

The main purpose of this training is raising world Christian and multiplying a fruitful disciples in the witnessing and propagating the gospel of Jesus Christ according to Acts 1:8. This training employs theoretical or class set up teaching and practical training in order to give a chance for the trainees to implement automatically what they have learnt in formal setup by allowing the Holy Spirit to guide and work in and trough  them. Some of the teachings as follows:-

§  Obstacles in world evangelization

§  Discipling new believers

2.            To help the church leaders to become effective workers in organizing the entire church for world evangelization

Training makes a difference in every aspect of the ministry. Because of this, we provide training to church leaders concerning the need of missions program in their local church and planting mission oriented churches in the unreached areas.

As we all know Missions program is definitely infant in developing countries. Thus most of the churches are engaged receiving missionaries from others rather than sending out their missionaries unto the unreached area of their vicinity and neighboring countries.

This program begins with vision sharing for missions and continues in teaching with different phase to help church leaders to enhance a good leadership style specifically in world evangelization. Leaders are the most key figures in the church activities like motivating; mobilizing and organizing and leading for specific purpose, therefore we spent more time with them to equip for world missions and to give them effective tools to involve the entire church members in missions program.  The main purpose of this training to spring up more missions oriented churches and establishing effective missions program in every local church and raising missionary sending church.

3.            To help the accessible missionary to become effective worker in church planting and in God’s kingdom.

The other main parts our training program focuses on accessible missionary.  A missionary must be equipped in the word of God and he/ she should be capable of interpreting the word of God accordingly. A missionary must be competent of crossing geographical, racial, social and cultural boundaries. In mission field various problem can be encountered for instance different religions and denominations, cults, opposite faith, atheist and many other.

Therefore a missionary must be with adequate training and experience before he goes to the mission field. New life international Joshua ministry provides sufficient training in cooperation with the local churches for developing the missionaries’ head, heart, and hands for ministry. This training helps the missionary to evaluate and revise his ministry according to the word of God and the people whom he ministering to. In addition to that this short term training helps the missionary to organize himself for another effective church planting.

4.            To raise up effective missionaries for world evangelization

In our missions program now we are organizing ourselves for one year missions training program for the ministers who are called to be a missionaries. This program will employs formal and practical teaching like church planting. As it has been said since it is high time for world evangelization the church of Jesus Christ must raise sufficient and efficient missionaries to bring back the lost humanity unto God by propagating the good news of Jesus Christ more than ever.

Therefore we are challenging, motivating, mobilizing and assisting the local churches in various ways to involve in world evangelization extensively by raising and sending out missionaries into the unreached local vicinity and neighboring countries. Thus we provide basic training as well as give various kinds of support like financing, advice and others.

During this one year training we are cooperating with the missionaries of local churches and provide proper teachings according to the word of God and prepare them for mission field to make them a useful servant of Jesus Christ wherever they will be. Some of the teachings are as follows
